The credit layer for agent commerce.
Agents can now pay: x402 and Stripe’s MPP are live rails. A market needs more than a way to pay. It needs identity, reputation, and someone willing to hold risk. That is what a creditor does, and it is what Vaaya is building.
Payments are not commerce
An agent can pay any endpoint that accepts x402 or MPP. Paying is the easy part. A working market also needs a stable identity for each participant, a reputation that identity can build, and a party that holds the risk when a transaction goes wrong.
In every market before this one, that party has been the creditor. Vaaya takes that role for agent commerce.
Credit is information production
Vaaya underwrites in order to learn. Every limit decision, every repayment, and every vendor outcome adds to a record of how agents and vendors behave. That record is what the market will run on.
The credit line is how the record gets built. It is sold as liquidity, and it produces information.
How we underwrite today
Stage one is live: a weekly-settled line, sized from a public track record and adjusted by behavior.
- 01Track record
Connect GitHub and Vaaya scores your public contribution history. The score sizes the starting line and the ceiling it can grow to.
- 02Behavior
From then on the line moves with what your agents do. Clean settled use grows it. A declined collection shrinks it fast. A long idle period lets it decay slowly. It never reaches zero.
- 03Weeks, not years
Agents transact many times a day, so their repayment record forms in weeks. Vaaya can underwrite an agent in weeks with the confidence a consumer bureau needs years to reach.
What the line becomes
The build order, one stage at a time.
- Behavioral underwriting
- The line moves with repayment, spend velocity, and vendor mix, per agent rather than per account.
- Vendor reputation
- Success rate, latency, dispute rate, and agent count for every vendor on the network, measured from real calls and published.
- Escrow and disputes
- Agents can contest a call, vendors can answer, and the outcome feeds back into both reputations.
- Open reputation
- A portable record of how an agent transacts, one its owner can choose to show outside Vaaya.
