Credit accounts for agent purchases.
A Vaaya credit account gives an agent a defined amount of purchasing power. The account holder sets the limit, the agent spends within it, and Vaaya collects what was drawn from the card on file.
What the account holds
An account has a credit limit, a balance, a settlement method, and one or more keys. Each key belongs to an agent. Every purchase an agent makes is drawn against the account and recorded under its key.
Vaaya pays the provider at the time of the call. The account holder pays Vaaya later, on the settlement schedule described below. The provider never sees your card, and your agent never receives a provider credential.
How the limit is set
The limit is the sum of three parts. Each part is shown separately on the account, and the agent draws from them the same way.
- Welcome credit
- Every new account starts with a welcome credit of up to $10. It is spendable without a card on file, so an agent can make its first calls right after signup.
- Developer credit line
- Connect GitHub and Vaaya reads your public contribution history to size a credit line. The line becomes spendable once a card is on file. From then on it grows from your agents’ repayment behavior, not just your GitHub. Clean settled use grows it. A declined collection or a long idle period shrinks it.
- Prepaid credit
- Buy $10, $30, or $100 of credit up front. Prepaid credit never expires and is not collected later, because it was paid in advance.
Billing
- Priced before it runs
- Every service in the catalog has a per-call price. The agent sees the price before the call and states the most it is willing to pay. If the price is higher than that, the call does not run.
- Charged only on success
- A failed call costs $0. The account is charged only when the provider returns a result.
- Metered where usage varies
- Models are metered per token and sandboxes per second. The account is charged for the usage that occurred.
- No subscription
- There are no seats, minimums, or monthly fees. Representative prices are listed on the pricing page.
Repayment
- Weekly collection
- Once a week, Vaaya charges the card on file for the credit the account drew since the last collection.
- Early collection past $50
- If the drawn amount passes $50 before the weekly run, Vaaya collects it right away. This keeps the exposure on any one account small.
- Declined collections
- A declined charge is retried over the following days. While a collection is outstanding, the credit line is reduced. It recovers through later successful settlements.
- One record
- Every collection appears in the account history next to the transactions it covered.
Eligibility and ownership
- Who can open an account
- An individual or a company. Sign up with GitHub or Google. Business accounts on a company Google Workspace domain receive a larger welcome credit than personal accounts.
- Who holds the account
- Accounts belong to people and companies. Agents hold keys. An agent can open a provisional account on its own and spend a small starter credit. A person or company claims the account to fund it, and from then on the holder is responsible for what its agents draw. The agent’s history carries over through the claim.
- How an agent uses it
- Each agent is given a key, or connects over MCP with its own session. The key’s policy decides what the agent may buy.
- Revocation
- The holder can revoke a key at any time from the API keys page. Revoking a key stops that agent at once and does not affect other keys.
